Mandy Ayers, Founder
Hi, I’m Mandy—founder of Mae’s Haven and owner of Ayers Family Farm.
Most people describe me as strong, inspiring, and kind. I don’t always see myself that way—but I do know this: everything I do comes from love, resilience, and a deep desire to help others feel seen, safe, and supported.
Mae’s Haven was born from both unimaginable loss and unwavering love. After losing my daughter, Juliauna Mae, my world was forever changed. In the midst of grief, I made a promise—to honor her life, her compassion, and her light by creating something meaningful. A place where healing is possible. A place where no one has to feel alone.
As a registered nurse, a mother, and a lifelong caretaker at heart, serving others has always been part of who I am. But Mae’s Haven and Ayers Family Farm go beyond a profession—they are personal. They are a reflection of my journey, my faith in healing, and my belief that connection—whether with animals, nature, or each other—can truly change lives.
Here on the farm, you’ll often find me doing a little of everything—caring for animals, welcoming guests, listening to stories, offering encouragement, or simply standing quietly beside someone who needs it. I believe strength doesn’t mean being unbreakable. It means continuing to show up with compassion, even after life has tested you.
If you’re here, I want you to know this: you are welcome. You are valued. And you matter.
Thank you for being part of our story—and for allowing me to be part of yours.
With love,
Mandy -
Robert Ayers Co-Founder
Meet Robert
Robert is the co-founder of Mae’s Haven and co-owner of Ayers Family Farm. He is the steady presence behind the scenes—the builder, protector, and quiet strength that helps keep everything grounded and moving forward.
A devoted husband and father, Robert’s heart for Mae’s Haven comes from love, loss, and an unwavering commitment to honoring their daughter, Juliauna Mae. While he may not always seek the spotlight, his dedication is felt in every fence built, every project completed, and every moment of support he gives to those who walk through the farm gates.
Robert believes in creating a place where people feel safe, where healing can happen naturally, and where hard work and heart go hand in hand. His strength shows not just in what he builds, but in how he shows up—consistently, faithfully, and with deep care for family, community, and purpose.
Mae’s Haven would not exist without Robert’s hands, his heart, or his quiet belief that something beautiful can still grow from even the hardest seasons.
